All this snow is crazy. I worked from home all last week and made it in one day this week. I convinced Matt to take me out to the store once and after being out, was happy to be home again. Matt, Skeeter and I went to the park to make snow angles on Monday (Skeeter's was more like a wilted bow tie than an angel, which I suppose is true, seeing how we had to get a table top tree this year. She's still ready to chew things at dog level, which is anything lower than a countertop).
Wishing you a merry Christmas. Stay safe and warm.

Well, is it about time to write something again? You'd think I'd have a boat load of fish all this time away. But see, I don't like fish, so I keep throwing them back, so its just me, Matt and an empty boat (see, skeeter dog jumped in the water and went back to shore fast as her little dog legs would carry her. Apparently all labs aren't interested in the water). But throwing all the fish back means we don't have to clean them, and we don't smell like dead fish, so thats a bonus, right?

Whats been going on between fishing trips? We're getting ready for thanksgiving dinner at Anne and Kyle's. I hear the turkey is thawing...we're going there on Saturday. Matt's signed up for bringing butter and rolls, and extra butter and more rolls, and extra extra butter. Hope we don't forget the butter. I've been practicing up for our holiday game of cranium. See, I really like the game, but I'm not all that good at star performer (not everyone appreciates my singing voice, and I don't really remember who's who in Hollywood), and my drawings aren't as easy to interpret as I would think they should be after a year in Ms. Allison's art class. And speling, well, why can't you use MS word spellcheck in Cranuim? :-) So although its fun to play, I feel a bit like the kid who's last picked in dodgeball. But I've got team spirit.

Matt and I were playing CLUE MASTER DETECTIVE last week. I can't believe that game went out of production. Its the best game ever. I never loose at that game.

We may just get the internet at home and slingshot from the 17th century, so if we do, I may come back from fishing more often. Until then, enjoy the holiday time with family and friends and don't forget the butter.

The beginning

I guess there's always a time to start this, right? And when I'm not fishing, I'll work on it.
